Day 2 of Lupus Awareness Month!

In lupus, something goes wrong with your immune system, which is the part of the body that fights off viruses, bacteria, and germs ("foreign invaders," like the flu).The result is the production of autoantibodies that attack healthy tissue.

    I don't have lupus myself, but I know others who do. It must be scary. I hope that someday soon they find a cure!
